Just a heads up.... These rod ends are about to go up in price, but anyone who orders at the current price will be upgraded to MRK 3.0 for FREE. This also includes any back orders that are currently waiting.

We will raise prices once the rod ends begin to ship (about 1-2 weeks) so act fast!

Jeff what is the Race made out of? Material your customers would probably like to know.

The race is ampco-15

The new bearings are 17-4 PH, polished to mirror finish then treated to H900 44Rc, then gas nitrided to 68rc surface hardness .005" deep

New housings are 4340 CrMo steel, heat treated THEN finish machined

New Spanner nuts are 4130N with no cutouts to weaken the structure.

As far as the races, we also have 660 bronze and Ampco 15 prototypes that we're testing as well.

These are changes for the Ballistic rod end (now V3.0), not their 3.0" joint is my understanding.

That makes more sense. Was trying to figure why they where making chromo cartridge joints to replace the old ones.

We haven't had any reason to do so at this point. We are required to machine the bore on the joint to a tolerance that is over 5 times tighter, so they won't be backwards compatible, nor can we make them for the existing forged joints.

Aaarrgghhhh CRAP !!

I had an order about 2mths ago but had other commitments to look after first. I am just getting back on track but I won't be able to get order done until mid next month ($$$).
Suppose I will just have to pay the extra. Hopefully the Aussie $$$ keeps up with the USD.
