Clicking rod ends, MXM-6

I made a pair of vertical swaybar links using the MIDWEST MXM-6 rod-ends and after one trip to Baja (1200 miles) they now have a slop. Tapping the links upward (ends of swaybar at the bottom) with my palm makes a loud click.

What's wrong?

Were they bound up in any way? MXM rod ends are good, but QA1 are better.

Thanks for the response. They're not bound up, they move and turn, albeit loosely. It's just that they have a slop and click when I wiggle the sway bar up and down.

You probably need a larger rod end from MWC, or try the QA1 joints.

Thanks.

Actually, I measured it and have the 1/2" MXM-8. I'll try the QA1 and see if they last, otherwise it'll be too expensive to be changing them every thousand miles.
