Lookin forward to seeing these in metal! Looks like some awesome work! Gonna be a long time before I can afford something like this though!

What kind of ground clearance gain vs a standard 14 bolt?

Got Curries being organised for customer but have another customer interested in how I go with getting them here to Australia at the right price.
Think I may have to make him aware of these & see if I can get a bit of a "heads up" pricing estimate to get the interest flowing !!!

hint hint Jeff

What would be the loss of ground clearance compared to a D60 or 9'' ?

considering you used to be able to get portal teks 3rd/housing for 2k$ and ballistic said theirs would be lower, i dont see the point in putting 7k$+ worth of new parts on a 30 yr cast center and also pay someone to retube it. ive been using junk yard parts my whole life and have no problem doing so, but since im single and live in a shack eating top ramen dumping all my money into my hobby whats the difference between 7k$ and 9k$? shiny stuff i dont have to wire wheel just so i can paint it

At the moment, there is nothing new to report. You have our word though that as soon as there is...we'll be letting all of you know.

Thanks! Dave

Any Chance this could be dropped in to a EATON housing? I already have all the 14bolt guts in mine anyway but would like the option for better gears.
