Does anyone know the amount of drop on a stock CJ skidplate to just the transmounts? I'd like to keep my driveline to the rear output at the same angle, but then I'll clock the xfer case up enough to clear the plate. I guess i could get under there and measure myself, when I get home.

Here's the 2" drop installed on my YJ. Gained about 1" of clearance over the stock skid.

Tj Flat Skid is now on our web site.
The two and three inch drops will be there by the end of ther week.

Its about 3" to the tranny mount and 5.5" to the bumpout for the transfercase from the bottom of the frame on the stock cj skid. Can I get a quote for a 2" cj to 66046

This may be a stupid idea, but could the skid for a YJ be used for link mounts if converting from leaf springs or is there enough room? I realize the rolled lip at the front is in the way too.

Would these plates fit a 49 Willys frame? I'll have to measure to see hoe much drop I need. It has all 78 CJ running gear and the transfer case is the lowest spot.

Yes, Or what we have done is use our Full Circle Bushing Mount Pair with a DOM sleave and poly bushing in it with a set of 4" shackles that point up. This set up seems to work really well.

I have a YJ with the stock 231 and no body lift. I want to order one of these but my jeep is in another state can someone tell me if I need a 2"or 3" drop. I plan on building a tcase mount out of tube and poly bushings off the frame and then running the skid over the top. Thanks in advance.

I am about to place order for one of these for my TJ. It is stretched 6 or 7 inches has super short SYE on stock 231, but I have not bodylift. What can I get away with as far as drop? I want as little as possible. I am not scared to fab alittle but not sure what all I have to clearance. Also what is shipping to 39562

I have a Yota with an AW4/300 swapped into it and want to use a skid like this to protect it's soft underbelly. just need to see if it will hit the yota frame.
