Is there any chance you might come out with a shave kit and pinion gaurd for these? Im new to the offroad worl but with my research on pricing these rearends are the future of 1 ton upgrades for people on a budget that want rear disc. I got mine for free but they sell for 400 at my local yard. Thanks for your time.
regular 14 bolt parts fit these axles

Just got my 13 bolt cover and pinion guard.

Cover is machined very nice on the mating surface.

The pinion guard is BEEF.

This is my second order with these guys, so far extremely happy. They ship the product fast! My first order was for 14 bolt spring perches, they also shipped FAST.

Is this cover compatible with the newer AAM axles with the drain plug/ dished out area where the drain plug is? or is the housing too thin after the cut?

Axle in question is a AAM 10.5 from a 2005 2500HD

Others in this thread have said that it would work, however I have not tried it on that axle.
Thanks
Brad

incase anyones wondering, this is how much housing you are left with on the bottom when shaving to match this cover (a bit less than 1/4")

I predict I will have to weld some metal to the bottom of my housing after a couple seasons of wheeling if not sooner.

I noticed the same thing, but it doesn't bother me because I spent more time building mine then ever wheeling it. LOL. I'm gonna wheel it until it leaks/cracks. Then flip the housing over and weld a skid plate on it. No biggie

When cut the rib off what you end up with is a uniform material thickness to what the factory made in front of the rib.
Thanks
