Rear xmember

Well, rear is bolted in place. I went to move the lower links to the new XM and damn if I don't need to triangulate them in order to get them to fit in the new space and at the new height. So, once again, more work than I even imagined I'd need to do - this time, grinding off all the old bracketry for the lowers from the rear axle and remaking it. Got the measurements all figured out and one side completed before coming in for the night.
The welding and grinding was hard on me today, I just about cut the tip of my left ring finger off and have anice burn from weld splatter on upper left side. Not to mention my left forearm burning from all the grinding waste showering it while taking the mounts off the axle tube.
The new front upper arm material and tubing ends arrived from poly performance but I'm hoping to just get the rear put back together and the front brake line re-ran and the rear brake line ( Earls flex hose from Summit just arrived Friday,) that I busted off redone by this weekend so I can get it back to Randy for the exhaust work.
I ordered a nylon brake line kit from Speedway Motors I think as I hate flaring steel tube, it only seems to work like fifty percent of the time for me and I hear this stuff is real easy to work with, 1/8" pipe thread and compression fittings. 1900 psi burst. We'll see.
that's it for now. goin to bed - hurtin
