ORS Cherokee Stubby Bumpers. *** FREE SHIPPING***
![]() ![]() ORS is proud to be the first to bring a bolt on bumper to market that allows customers to mount their winch below the radiator of their XJ's and MJ's. This bumper offers more ground clearance and a better approach angle than any bumper offered for the 87-01 XJ or MJ. Weighing as little as 37lbs, this bumper won’t weigh down your suspension either. Not only is it light weight it's very strong. These bumpers are designed to mount into the front frame horns with 18 bolts through existing frame holes. It works as more than a bumper too... It's also a steering box brace and front cross member. Made from 3/16 steel it will keep the front of your unibody intact and crack free. Due to it's modular design this bumper allows the owner to fit his/her needs. Also available are modular wings that will bolt onto the stubby bumper transforming it to a "full width" bumper, protecting the lights and fenders. Also in the works are grill hoops, stingers and light bars that will allow the owner to bolt on added protection. This allows the owner to customize their bumper as their needs change or money allows. Four versions of the stubby bumper are offered. Blank... $255.00 Prototype with old style d-ring mounts ![]() Comp winch... $275.00 ![]() non integrated solenoid winch... $275.00 ![]() Integrated solenoid winch... $295.00 ![]() Wings (sold as a pair)... $175.00 ![]() Driver side inner steering box plate... $35.00 or $25.00 with the purchase of an ORS bumper ![]() To place your order PM me or call my cell any time at, (817) 880 4826. These Bumpers fit most popular winch brands. Ramsey is not one... Smitty Suilt, Superwinch, Warn, T-Max, Chicago, Tabor, Rough country, Mile Marker, along with many others will. As long as the base mounting width is 6" or less. With this bumper the front cross-member does have to be trimmed to allow placement of your winch. For winches mounted in the non integrated solenoid bumpers. You will need to locate your solenoid box either under the hood or in the cab. My bumpers are jig built and made to fit the XJ/MJ frame rails tightly, if you are running front frame stiffeners, modifications may need to be made to allow proper fitment. These bumpers do an amazing job of tieing the driver and passenger frame rail together... If you want a recovery point you can trust this is your bumper. ORS BUMPERS OFFER MANY GREAT FEATURES: -Modular design makes upgrades easy -Ridged light weight design keeps sprung weight down and center of gravity low -High clearance design offers the best approach angle of any bumper on the market. -inner frame plates give a firm mount, and help brace the steering box. -3/4 inch d-ring tabs offer nearly a foot of weld surface and fit up to 7/8 d-rings. This offers a solid point of recovery that you can trust. -Hidden winch mount keeps your winch safe and out of harms way. Also keeping the elements and praying thieves at bay -Low cost and high quality. My bumpers are made by hand here in America from 3/16" hot rolled steel. -Fast shipping with helpful service. My cell number is (817) 880 4826. If for some reason you have an issue. You can call me day or night week day or weekend. If for some reason I miss your call I will return it quickly. I understand how it works. Just because you changed the mounting 90 degrees doesn't mean that there isn't a winch mounting area. Is that a better term for you?
Do you have pictures of anthing besides the outside of the bumper or an old rusty winch, like where the winch mounts, the frame mounts, an actual winch mounted to the bumper, your welds, etc.?

Sorry haven’t checked this in a bit... LOL
Here is what I can tell you. My welds are very good (most people think they are done by robotics) fitment is spot on from what I have been told. The three that have been put on here at the shop all fit perfect. The winch mounts to the face... I'm really not sure how else to explain that. It's a super simple design. Here are a few more pics. I'm sorry I don't have more pictures but I don't install many here. Most go out to customers and no one has sent me pics. ![]() ![]()

Wow, awesome product you got there! I never thought I would see a bumper on the market that's as close to how I built mine. Just out of curiousity, how much of the existing structure needs to be cut away? It looks like the stock cross member, including the radiator support, and the horns need to be shortened?
Congrats on the new biz! Billy

Thank you for the orders! These have been flying out as fast as I can make them.
Starting April 1st bumpers will no longer include free shipping. So get your orders in this month. Shipping will very, but expect $30-50 depending on location and options.

Hey! Thanks! Awesome to finally get some pics from someone. Nice looking Jeep too.
I'd like to also remind everyone there are only a few more days to get free shipping. I'm currently about two weeks behind on orders. But if you place your order before the first I will honor the free shipping. Shipping in the states runs on average about $40 so even if you can't swing it now shipping is still very reasonable. I'd like to thank my customers who have orderd. I'm selling these about as fast as I can build them.
