Yes, they would be cheaper if they were only 1/4" thick and not machined flat but who would want them? These are made for users, not posers

When I started Ruffstuff quality was the reason, I could not find it. Now there are quite a few good companies you can trust for quality, I like to think we had a little something to do with that Lead by example!

Looks like a kit built one. If I bought something and the welds looked like that I'd send it back. If I built one from a kit and the welds looked like that, I'd grind it clean before I took a picture for my build thread.
