Removeable snap in windshield kits from gotpropane!!
After several people asked about the windshield in my truck and where I could get one, I am making do it yourself snap in windshield kits. Like my propane kits, I shopped around to find the most durable materials to do this. I use double laminated, heavy guage convertible top window. This has held up to a year's worth of heavy abuse including rock rash, trees and brush, mud, etc with minimal scratching. I provide a snap kit with the tool to install the snaps into the plastic. It cuts easily with scissors and we have the reciever snaps for the cage in either screw in or rivet in. It comes with 14 snaps.
It comes on and off easily and just rolls up for the day and snaps back on easily for night runs, rain, dust, cold, etc... The size of the material is 27.5 inches by 62 inches long. Trim to fit with scissors. Oh, they are $79

I suppose this wouldn't work too well at highway speeds or even be legal for highway/registered vehicles?
great idea for trail rigs! might be nice to have some that snap around the sides too for winter time

I've done about 60 and it is all good. The key is putting snaps all around. I suppose the sky is the limit for applications. Side windows, back windows, maybe even wind/rain protection on buggies? The nice thing is when it warms up or stops raining, you un snap it and roll it up. Put it back on if a shower hits or it gets cold. It made all the difference for me this year traveling on the roads when it was cold.

I bought one of these from Cary-works awesome-Ive driven with mine for a windshield for a few months now(upto about 80mph) it does flex inwards when going that fast but for an all around element keeper outer works great and keeps the wind out of your face when on the freeway and dust out of your face when to and from the trail.
