Poison Spyder Ricochet Rockers

Poison Spyder Customs’ Ricochet Rockers are the ultimate combination of form and function for Jeeps. Ricochet Rockers are based on Poison Spyder’s proven Rocker Knockers, which provide rugged 3/16” plate steel protection for the vulnerable rocker panel area. Ricochet Rockers feature the addition of a tubular steel slider rail with integrated entry step. The tubing used is 1-1.2” X .120 wall DOM, while the step is laser cut from 3/16” plate steel. The step is also brake-formed to provide its own strengthening gussets and dimple-died for function and style. The dimples help increase foot traction when entering the vehicle, even with mud- or snow-covered boots. Ricochet Rockers also feature laser-cut plate steel gussets at either end, as well as horizontal tubular supports underneath the step to provide increased strength when used as a rub rail against rocks and trees.
Ricochet Rockers look as good as they work. They extend 5” from the outside edge of the vehicle, keeping body sheet metal a safe distance from trail obstacles. The four bends of the tubular slider rail, along with the laser cut plate step with dimpled holes, give Ricochet Rockers a hard core appearance unmatched by any other rocker panel protection on the market. Ricochet Rockers are available for Jeep CJ-7, TJ, YJ and LJ (Unlimited). They integrate perfectly with Poison Spyder’s Crusher Corners and Tube Fenders to surround your entire Jeep in hard core body armor.

It looks like another manufacturer just introduced a rear bumper with a tube and step that looks exactly like our Ricochet Rockers. They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery but come on, they could have at least put a little of their own spin on it. Oh well, its not the first time someone has blatantly lifted our designs and probably won't be the last.

I'm not familiar enough with ShockWorks' product so I can't really give you a feature-for-feature comparison. Also, we get along great with most of the other manufacturers in the industry so we try to stay away from criticizing any of the others or their products. Best we can do is tell you what we believe are the strengths of our products, and you can compare it yourself with whatever other manufacturer's products you are considering.
