Arrow Something Simple, Weld Washers!

These are some of the simple things that really come in handy when tying it all together. They will really add strength where you need it without adding unneccessary weight. Many will use them with the "V" edge down when using a MIG for easy penetration, I like them flat when I TIG for a clean, tight presentation thats just as strong.

These are 1020 steel but 7/32" thick so no need for Chromoly and if its not going to be heat treated why bother anyway....They are available with a 3/4", 5/8", 9/16", or 1/2" holes and are 6 for $10....

And for after the hole has already gone oblong here are our Fixit Weld Washers

Great...now you tell us! We just placed a rod end order a few days ago and now will have to pay for an additional shipment!

On another note, the 5/8"...what is the diameter of the outer portion of the bevel? We will be picking up hardened washers for our F911 hardware and want to know if the diameters are remotely close.

I didn't see this til now, I am working tommorrow and I will measure that portion when I get in. On another note, sold 4 sets of these today so I guess someone wanted them at a fair price! I have seen a couple of online shops sell them for about $3 each and thats just a bit carried away

Whats the OD on these? Im assuming they are at least wide enough that a std bolt head will not hang over, but we all know what happens when you assume.

Good question....

It turns out I had 2 in my pocket so you and Dustin won't have to wait til tommorrow....

The overall diameter is 1 1/4" and the apex of the bevel is 15/16"....The 2 in the pics are 5/8" & 3/4" so they may appear smaller...

What good does armor do....

If the bolts mounting it tear out? Thing before it happens, preventative maintenance!

Strength is where you create it...

And sometimes its only a little spot that needs reinforcement, these can do the job and keep the weight down....

And its building season so take a look...

Take a look at something that can save your butt on the trail by having used them before....not after....
