Looking for Winnipeg folk or people from the surrounding area. I'm a member of the Red River Jeep Club based out of Winnipeg.

Live in Winnipeg, grew up in the Whiteshell.

I SAS's my 4runner just before i joined the board though i got all of my info on how from here. Been lurking here since early 2001.
4runner was SAS 37 MTRs, with 82 front axle, welded, 5.29s, All Pro hi-steer arms, longfield super set and hub gears. Rear leaf conversion with e-locker 5.29 gears.
Motor/tranny/transfer stock.

Its going through its third revamp now. Before the snowfell got the D60(chevy) installed up front. Have the matching 14B for the back, likely going to weld it. And swapping the drivetrain for a sbc383/sm465/stak mini three speed. I have everything ready to go with only the steering and driveshafts left to source. Also would like an ARB or e-locker for the front but might wait on that and run open until i can afford to upgrade the axles, joints and hubs as well.

You can forget about the floodway.

I havent been out there since summer but last time i was construction for the expansion was right at spring hill. I know the local clubs and what not are asking everyone to stay away in hopes that part of the floodway will be allocated as an offroad area but going by the article in the sun a couple weeks ago that has a slim chance in hell of happening.

It sucked in the summer but i always had fun there in winter.

Some slight variations in lightly rolling terrain and large random boulders. I'm working with a Realtor on narrowing it down to 2 locations and we are hashing out a plan to hopefully have an agreement on an offer in the next couple weeks. This likely won't be ready to open until summer 2010 but could possibly use some help clearing trails and such before then.
