That would be the poop, I thought I read a bit about them trying it, but couldn't find anything except some "DD Machine" people that may or may not build them.

I will definitely be building a 241/205 doubler. is the 2" of upward rotation enough to make the 205 flat? if not how hard would this be to accomplish.

The 2" up rotation is about half way in between stock and totally flat. The 2" up rotation typically fits under the floor of a full bodied rig, totally flat not so much.

We do have a flat 205 option that's $565, figure 8, round or Ford 205.

how long is the whole setup compared to your 203/205 doubler? what tranny options can it fit behind?

1 1/2" shorter than a 203/205, it can fit behind just about any trans that ever used a round pattern t-case.

Shoot me a PM on a price for a drivers drop chevy 241 to a passenger drop chevy fig 8 205. I also need a shaft and bearing cause my 205 is a 27 spline unless you can work that another way.

We are producing our Infinitely Clockable steel NP 231 and NP241 kits in 31 and 32 Spline versions and are actively taking orders. Like all of our adapters, the kit can be welded together in ANY orientation your application requires, even 180 degrees if need be.

Nope, haven't seen a whole lot of demand for it. Plus the 241 is stronger and at least as easy to find.

Our 241 kit looks nearly identical to the 231 kit we posted above. All of the components are the same except the main plate. The figure 8 version includes seals and gaskets for the input and figure 8 pattern all for $550 shipped to your door. There is no need to cut and weld pockets in for shift rails and the weld up design allows for infinite clockability. For additional options we can supply a clocking/ flip ring for your 241 if there is a need.

Our kit is the plate to cover the back of the 241, the plates to patch up the side where the front output portion is cut off, a pocket for the shift rail and the chromoly shaft that couples the 241 to the 205 (or whatever t-case you're using) along with some hardware etc. Some kits also include a clocking ring to make sure the 241 is never the lowest point in the system.

We don't do the flanged adapter deal in the interest of keeping the reduction box as short as possible. Plus you're already welding the fill plates so welding a little bit more for the shifter cut out is no big deal.

Ours also precisely aligns the two cases and is shipped to you true and ready to bolt together, no machine work necessary on your part, things that no one else does. Our kits include clocking options (from stock to flat and some in between) as well that depend on which kit you're looking for.
