i got a new set up from north west fab. when i hit about 40 the cases start making nose and will not go away un til i stop or if i put the 205 in nutral. put new bearings in the 203 and have look at the 205 and see nothing wrong. got any ideas to help me figure this out.
mines from ord and its kinda loud if i get going then let off on power it will make noise until i give it gas then it goes away. but my buddys does the same so i didnt worry
Very likely that it's a driveline vibration even if you can't feel it, the gear driven transfer cases tend to be noisy with a driveshaft that isn't quite vibration free.
Hey thanks man. I throw my buddy's brand new drive line in that just so happens to be the same langth and it sound great. Guess I'm off to the drive line shop next week. Thanks again.
Whine? Gear clash? Hum? Whistle? Tooting? Popping? Crunching? WTF is it doing? Can you feel it in the truck, shifter, etc?
