Does anyone know what the recommended tolerance for wheel bearings to spindle is?
Had an inner wheel bearing weld itself to the spindle. Had to use a torch, chisel and BFH to remove it. Needless to say, the the bearing surface was fawked up! It took about 4 hours of emery cloth and fine scotch brite to get a new bearing to fit.
Are the dimensions acceptable?
Was all that work for naught?
As for the pinion depth code, is the one in the pic considered -1 or -10?
Thanks for any and all help.
