So, I deleted the old thread on this since I hadn't done anything in productive on it a while, and figured since I had actually made some progress I would make a better organized thread on it.
A week ago it was still sitting on the 3/4tons, 39.5s, stock steering, etc.
I had picked up a 75 jimmy for parts two months ago, and a few odds and ends, and this last weekend a few of my buddies were going for day trip to cow, and i had a few days off, so i figured ide actually get stuff done on it.
So the parts on the jimmy that i took off, and are now on the blazer are
-Dana 60, 4.10 gears, lincoln locked, 35 spline outers, warn hubs, high steer arms, and a rear 14 bolt that had been welded also.
-2wd box, high steer arms,
-5 42x15x16 pitbull rockers
-and some other odds n ends.
Some pics from before, and after.

And what the parts came off of
2011-11-03_18-13-01_350 by Kcpeltz, on Flickr
It wheeled great for being on some stiff 4" springs in the front, and just shackled flipped with stock 52s in the rear, but it definitely needs some changing.
I have a set of stock 56s that i want to run in the front, long side to the back to push the axle forward a few inches, and i have some 63s for the rear.
Next is the steering. I picked up one of the tractor surplus grizzly rams for the time being, now i just need to tap the box, because even though this thing steered a whole let better then the stock push pull, fighting 42s in the rocks, and a welded front end made me wish i had tapped the box when i had the time before going out this last weekend.
After that i just have to decide if i want to drop the 454 i picked up in, or just get a tbi set up for the 350 that's in it, and run it till it dies and build the bbc up in the meantime. I will say that the 350 in it never felt like it was underpowered in first, and 4lo,and the Edelbrock carb on it did surprisingly well, it mostly only stalled because my lack of clutch, brake and gas foot action.
Axle wise, im gonna pick up a set of 5.38s asap, the 465 made up for the 4.10s, but if im gonna keep the 42s on it, i need to re-gear it.
I picked up a warn 9.5ti from my bronlaw for a smoking deal, its a few years old, but its literally never been used, it just sat in his shop, so i need to mount that before the next time out.
I also need to get some better seats, and harnesses. That's pretty high on the list of to do's before any major wheeling trip.
And some Poser Flex Shots to finish this post off :flipoff2:
