I have searched and all i found was people talking about their home built doubler but no good pics. I was thinking of doing one cause i got all the material and would just buy a mainshaft from nwf. The question that i was wondering is if i built my own, wouldnt i need a seal on the 203 side of the doubler that goes over the main shaft to just keep the oil in the 203 range box, then just shifters and so on. If you guys got pics post them up, lets see how creative you bastards really are!!!!
For the record, you don't need a fucking seal on the output of the 203. There is one on the input of the 205. If you had a fucking clue.... you'd know that.
For shifters, search. They are all over the fucking place.
I did search search for threads and pics asshole, but everything i found was old threads that had no pics or a clear description or advise, if you would have read my first post i stated that!!
Im not looking for doubler shifters, looking to see if people have built there own doubler and was stating that i would need shifter and so on, learn to read
There, dipshit. Narrowed it down to "doubler shifter 205 Pirate"
Can't find any pics..... Seriously. Are you that fucking retarded?
At least come up with something original like, "I'm much too busy to type in 4 words and sort thru the results." It would be true, and you would at least have your fucking dignity...

Fucking idiot. Learn to write. I know it's difficult for you to maintain a simple train of thought, but with practice, you'll improve. You specifically stated that those were the questions you had.
You asked 2 questions, one was about the seal, which I already covered, but shouldn't have had to, since it's pretty much elementary.
The other was shifters "and so on", whatever the fuck that means. Basically, you want us to interpret that to mean everything you haven't the foresight to think of, I suppose.
Either way, I figure you have about a snowballs chance of pulling it off. The guys who have, could think for themselves
And where does it say it goes on the output of the 203. It goes on the 205, like I said. Yes, you have to have a seal. Copy the portion of the stock 205 adapter which faces against the 205. Is it really that hard to fucking understand?
Wow, looks like I must know what I'm talking about. ORD copied my idea, or quite possibly, they thought of it all by themselves without any input from me. So did Northwest Fab, and everyone else who has ever made one. You, on the other hand, are, as already pointed out, incapable of individual thought, so I spelled it out for you.
Dahoyle brings the hate... haha its making my lunch break...
OP: What do you have for material that you plan to build this out of and what machines or tools do you have available to you to build your own?
Whats your plan to make one?
Here's a free tip: If you don't have axcess to machines or tools, or the skill/ knowledge to build one without, You should just buy a kit and bolt it together.
As to a seal for the back of the 203 no you don't need one, its not a bad Idea, but no you dont need one.
There are three more pics for you. You managed to find 2 of them by yourself, and still couldn't figure out the seal issue. It's official, all the pics in the world aren't going to help you.
If some hottie said I needed to get laid, I'd probably receive that in a somewhat negative way. On the other hand, if some hottie offered to fuck my brains out.....
We seriously need a section where all the insults are recorded and categorized, so the idiots such as yourself can look up a good one.
That one is ... Hell, I don't even know. It's almost as good as the ones we came up with in the 7th grade, 35 fucking years ago.
I mean, do you retards ever have anything to say that doesn't involve dicks, cocks, sucking, anal sex. It's all sort of revealing, if you know what I mean.
Well, we can only hope that isn't the extent of your intellect. Keep trying, and some day you can come up with something better. Feel free to practice on me. You have a long way to go before I will be insulted. So far, all you have managed to do is highlight your own twisted fantasies.
can you guys bust out the rulers, measure up, and stop posting please. this thread is dumb.
buy the intermediate shaft from ord, that will tell you roughly how far apart the case and range box need to be, your going to have to measure stuff and disassemble both cases to mock this stuff up. im sure there are rules for this sort of thing like spline engagement and spline slip, but since you dont know them and im not trying to actually make a doubler they dont apply. personally if i were to simply guess at it and not do any homework i would bottom out the intermediate shaft and then pull it back out 1/16th of an inch and call it good. but thats only if i were going to guess at it, personally i would just call up people who have made these and ask them first. from there its just a matter of making two plates that bolt up to the tcase and range box and figuring a way to bridge the two. sounds easy huh... everything needs to be parallel, flat, inline, and welded in a jig if its welded. and that right there is going to account for much of the cost of a doubler. and since your making one your going to be remeasuring and checking everything every step more so than the guys who make them. so there goes your time. they arnt magic, they are just two gear boxes connected by a shaft. but actually making one is a different story. if you got the tools then more power to you that $aves.
do you personally have the tools required to do this? like a vertical mill? or do you have them available.
So many people gotta shit on a thread........I say go for it. Get both cases in hand and take a part 203 for low range box set both on table. Placed ordered int. Shaft between the two. Make some measurements and go for it. Its not rocket science. If It doesn't work out then whooping fucking do. Hammer down and keep posted.
No creativity. Can't even manage to search out other peoples work and copy it. Has to come and ask for pics. This is a project that will never come to fruition because of....
Lack of individual thought
Lack of individual effort
Lack of the ability to even copy others efforts, without spoon feeding.
Call Jon at JED'S send him your intermediate shaft from 203 and $540 and be done with it ,comes with all you need ..
You will have half that in parts cost
I've read and talked to Jon about respline shafts and most never have a problem if your running a large hp motor and driving a rock bouncing buggy I could see going with something stronger but for average weekend warrior I haven't heard of any problems
But yes your shaft and my bill was $565 shipped to my door and took about a week once he had the shaft
And a great guy to talk to he will answer any questions you might have
Here's mine I just got it last week haven't had a chance to assemble yet
