Just purchased a 89 suburban 2500 it has a tbi 5.7. I drove it home no problems check engine light was on about 30 miles. Got it home tweeked on it alittle.

changed out all the rotten vaccum lines
It was running perfect the check engine light went off and it had a smooth idle and lots of power. I thought it was fixed so I cleaned up left it alone and came back a few hours later and it was hard to start and when I finally got it started the idle was super high I had another throttle body so I swaped out the idle sensor that threads into the back and that didnt help. As of now it doesnt idle well and spudders quite abit check engine light flashes on and off any ideas
