Project: 86'd suburban conversion pickup (DEM) don't even matter

Ok I asked a couple questions on this site, last time wasn't so great but I figured I would post some pics anyways I started with an 86 suburban that was k25 before the axles were pulled (I'm going 14 ff, and d60 anyways)

And heres where I'm at with it after this last weekend

I definately need to get a visor for it it just looks goofy without it

If you don't like it...
Suck it gay boys

Ive seen that done a couple times I thought about bobbing the bed of this one but I don't want to lose all my hauling space as I'll be running a single stack in the bed and a small drag up tank on the other side

I like how you did the roof, Ive see a few guys goof that part up. Whats your plan for the tailgate?, and bed sides? Rather than use a truck rear section I was thinking or moving the tailgate and rear roof section forward, basically just cutting the section of roof where the big side windows are, so I could still roll the rear/back window up and down like an avalanche..

My friends kept telling me to do the motor swap first, but I wanted to be committed to my project my way, if I got it running I would have most likely ran it as a burb do I went out and cut a random whole in the roof, and opened up premiers pandoras box lol

Nice project. Unless you have one hell of a muffler under that thing your teeth are gonna chatter with that 12v and a stack. I had dual stacks in my 94 chevy and on my dodge. Even with resonators they would rattle your brain.

As you can see you have to pie cut to make the pinch seam to line up

heres a few pics of my conversion. i just cut the d pillar and moved it forward. i also used the rear hatch from a dodge ramcharger for my removable rear window.

i lost most of my pics when some asshat stole my phone. however, i dont want to hijack your thread. heres a link to mine over on colorado k5.

I wish the bed rails were just a little but higher but this is stock bed height so I don't have to mess with the tailgate

Scab panels on top of the roof

Can we change our screen name after creating it? I'd like to change mine to the name of my small fab shop if I can DirtFloorFab
