Now that's hilarious. Other than it being impossible to control, the amount of flex gained would be insane.

I doubt its been done, there is no room to mount leafs outside the frame, under the frame would be a bad idea, and inside the frame has the motor mouns/front crossmember in the way. As far as being hard to control, only as hard to control as coils.

Avalanche has built a couple snipers with 1/4 eliptics up front.

Yup,Avs built one awhile back.Don't think it would be any different then coils up front.Could get some crazy flex with 4elip front and rear.

There's a flatty buggy running around Phoenix that's 1/4 eliptic front and rear. The flex is off the sanity scale and the body roll makes it flop about like a rag doll. It's definately different, but I don't know about good.
