Not sure if I should post a link to another board where my project is. I just don't wanna take the time to re-write the whole damn thing... It's Brook's (bgreen-project Freak) board, so should/can I? Paul? If it's a yes, expect a link ASAP.

I am looking at ditching the Blazer body (it's too trashed), and bolting on a 67-72 PU cab. Then go with a flatbed/exo setup. Prolly not till late summer/early fall.

Well this afternoon I got it painted one color, nothing fancy, just wanted the roll cage and body all one color. Waiting on my 40" tsl's to arrive, gotta order my mrt beadlocks yet, and saving what little bit I have left for full hydro steering.

K5thing - What size beadlocks do you have now? And what are you planning to do with them?

The radiator mounts that I have pictured are older, the new one will be mounted in the rear.

None of the new stuff. Doubler still in pieces on the shop floor. Links not even started but go most of the stuff except the joints, still waffling on which joints to use vs. bushings vs. JJs, etc. Hood is skinned, new inner structure out of 1/2 x .062 tube almost done. Tube front bent and tacked, but not welded or painted. New front cross member on the welding table, needs mount brackets (tie into the front spring mounts) finished, front spring mounts will now be the front of the truck. Hood is moved back about 6" and down about 1.5"...

Well, my project is an 81 Suburban Aptly named Brown Cow. I will have pics soon after i put on my shaved 14 bolt rearend, currently it has a twelve bolt. I am getting a D60 soon also for the front end, and get this, i am paying the guy two Kegs of beer for it(he doesnt know what he is sitting on) a great deal i am going to take. I am building it for mud now, and i am going to build it for rocks after i get another car. You think rockwells, or Unimogs? rcurrier44, it looks like you dont get a lot of flex in that pic(4th one down). I built my suspension right and can out flex my friends toyota truck with 35" tires on. As for tires, i plan on getting 37" MTR's and as soon as it isnt a DD, i will put beadlocks and 44"s on. But as for now, i just have 33"s, puny i know, but 6 mpg on a DD gets expensive, Pics soon.

Hey buddy, Sorry about not being too helpfull lately. I have been hooked up like a show dog on the Freak lately, and pretty much all the rest of the guys on the board are getting ready for the Meet and Greet. This weekend is the biggest event in Alaska, so pretty much everyone is busy. Hang in there.... Dont go away.

Nope, not leavin that site, too many people with wisdom I can gain. I'm not in so much of a rush as that I kinda wanted a new view to the problems I'm having, and maybe some new faces I understand you with the Freak and the M&G comin' up, just waitin' my turn, so to speak Again, no rush.

I haven't been on your site in a while either. Come to think of it, it was because I read a thread that said it was slowly going to go bye bye. Now that I think about it, it was in the beginning of April sometime .

YOU FUCKER!!!

Damnit, I fell for an April Fools

Ok making me break out the flexin' pics. Your right I am not a ramp champ but I do score a 1225 on the standard 20 degree ramp (last Divide Ride score). That pic is from the enterence (first obsticle on upper heldorado) and is mostly off camber so it is very decieving, plus I run 44"tsls so it makes the rock looks small. Persionaly I think that if I ramped more it would hurt my trailability elsware. I'm shure most people remember the clasic photo of that pink and white jeep in the mags skying a tire off of that rock that I am driving over in my photo.

Flex pics right after the body swap.

Here is what a super flexy rig does in that place (one rock before). He is running 37" and has a forced articulation system (same idea as scorpion buggy)
