Where do I start... I was on a trip last weekend where I busted a stub in my D60. My 60 is sort of odd, being that the housing is from a Dodge, and the outers are Ford. That also means I have the infamous Ford stub shafts which are a PITA to source replacements for, to say the least.

My question is this... I am going to be moving to hummer rims here in the near future, and I would ideally like to run dually hubs so I don't have to weld in new centers on the hummers

. THEREFORE, I'd be interested in slapping a set of hubs from a late 80's dually P/U onto my axle, but I am not sure if they will work on my Ford spindles.

If thhe spindles need replacing, then so does the knuckle, caliper, rotor, bearings, seals, etc... and I am attempting to avoid all that cost.

Any ideas?

Step 1. Do a search or post in the newbie forum!

Step 2. Buy Ford dually hubs or buy 4" steel wheel spacers.

Step3. Buy 35 spline stubs for a Chevy/Dodge and machine ~.6" off and recut snap ring groove.

Step 4.

the distance between the inner and outer bearings are different between the ford and chevy about 5/8 of an inch different. So if you want to run the chevy hubs you will have to change from knuckle out, the only thing the same are the bearings and locking hubs.
