AC to air

I want to take my stock compressor run the intake into the valve cover and the output to a tank with a square D pressure switch to control the clutch. I searched and saw a bunch o shit about oilers and oil removers. I've seen it done this way and the engine air seems to keep it oiled enough w/out contaminating the air too bad. Any opinions?

They all seem to put out a decent amount of air. Even the one on my 79 RX7

I realy don't have any experience with this setup but I'll give you my opinion. If there is oil in the air in there than it will work. A compressor doesn't seem to care what oil you run thru it, it just needs some lubrication.

But my new/good engine doesn't seem to produce much blow-by and therefore there doesn't seem to be as much oil in the vapor comming out of the engine. If you have an older engine than go for it. I know mine would leave a film of oil outside the breather every time I ran it.

Other people have run that setup with success. I wouldnt run that shit though. I have seen inline oilers at pepboys for as little as $10. I dont like the thought of exhaust gases and oil going in my tires.

also get a oil/water seperator from home creephole or loses for around $20 before it goes to a tank or your tires. Inline oiler into compressor oil/water seperator on the discharge side. Monting the compressor INHO is the hard part, since thats done allready. Then just go for it!
