Looking for pictures of broken D60 knuckles
Particularly Ford knuckles, but I'll take what I can get! I'm trying to determine where the knuckle is going to break. I've recently upgraded my outers to include 35 sp. 4340 stubs, and Ford DRW hubs... NOW (of course) I begin to hear rumors that my knuckles are inherently weak seeing that they are Fords.
Can anyone fill me in?

well first of all i have a set of dually hubs that ive been tryin to give away for a long time where were you on that one. Anyways you tried the search feature ever, plenty on there. They break at the top where the knuckle turns into a block where the upper kingpin is housed, you can have them sent to welder boy and he can gusset them for you. If they arnt already broken, this should help the strenght alot. you shouldnt have to worry about it to much if your not running high steer.

Guess I should have seen it coming... YES, I've noticed that search button before... always wondered what it was there for...
Thanks for the info. I am not running hi-steer, nor do I plan to go that route anytime soon. Have any ideas where I can get a URL that might tell me more about good ol' "welder boy" and his services? Thanks.

Anybody know the difference in WMS on a dually and single wheel ford? I'm trying to decide how much of the hummer backspacing these would take up.
