dana 44 rear disc
Hey all! I did a search for this and came up with nothing so maybe someone can help me!
I have a rear 6 lug dana 44 and I want to convert it to disc from drum. Has anyone seen a write up on how to do this with junk yard parts? Any help would be appriciated! thanks |

I'v converted a Toyota landcruiser using the rotors off a 10 bolt front and the calibers off a 78 monte carlo. I'm guessing a D44 conversion would work somewhat the same. You just have to make yourself the proper set of caliber brackets.

I remember seeng one a while ago and I had a link to it on my old computer then it crashed and I lost the link, but I found it using google so maybe you can do a search.
If you can't find one then we'll just take a look at the axle and figure out a way. I had a D44 rear in my Jeep Waggy but I gave it away so I can't take a look at it now.
