Torque specs verification needed... Kinda Urgent - Pirate4x4.Com : 4x4 and Off-Road Forum

Ok i read somewhere on the internet that the Oil pump bolt should be Torqued to 60 ft lbs. Then i looked in the Haynes manual and it says 115 in lbs. Logic tells me 115 in lbs = a little less the 10 ft lbs..... What do i torque this thing to?....

torque it to 'good and snug' and call it good...

For a small block 350 it is 65 ft lbs. As per my GM manual years 65 to 87. Hope it is helpful.
