Don't know about the tranny but when I swapped in a BB to my '73 Blazer the small block motor mounts worked better than the BB ones that I bought.
If I had to guess on the tranny, I would say it would bolt up and you would need the auto stuff like auto streering column, radiator with tranny cooler or an aftermaket cooler |

Get some TOUGH parts in that TH700. When I was a counterman at a wrecking yard I sold a TBI 454 to go in his '85 K10 Burb. He blew up the TH700 in a week.
There was also something funny about the flexplate.... I can't quite remember. Either the TC bolt holes were drilled out bigger, or we cut the counterweight off a 454 flexplate, and tacked it on the 350 flexplate.

Hmmmm, is that you in these different user IDs?
You need good fuel mileage? Bummer, getting the 454 to work would be awesome!! And a FI would not be quite as bad as a carbed one.... Try http://coloradok5.com/forums for Blazer specific discussions. |

yeah thats my friend Justin, he uses my labtop also and i never pay atention who is logged on at what time. wel i need to pull a trailer and some of the trails here you have to drive a good amount of time to get to on a highway, if the 454 can almost bolt in and te 700r4 will handle it i would get it, but i don't know much about the chevy drive train, and what will handle what or bolt to what. i am aso trying to get a NP205 t-case for the 700r4 tranny
