TBI in Carb world
Well I just got my hands on a TBI 350. Some guy cooked a main bearing, and wanted to get rid of the engine, the truck wasn't worth saving. The part i'm wondering about is since I pulled everything from the serpentine assembly back to the tranny including the two ECM's is can I put the heads and throttle body manifold onto my carbed 350? It is out of a 78' chevy 1/2 ton. The engine would then go in my 86' (carb) Jimmy wich decided it didn't like it's 305 after 153,000 miles. I know a little but about ECM's, but not enough. What can you tell me? Are there any parts I definetly have to have, that isn't on the engine?
