emissions problem

OK i have a 89 k5 with a 350 that has 165,000 on it and i can't get to pass emissions eveytime i took it it was getting better and then yesterday it failed so bad the spec is 220 and it blew a 1525 . So i have done a ton of stuff trying to get it to pass and it just won't.

list of stuff done.
cap,wires,rotor
plugs
fixed any found vaccum leaks
advanced the timeing from 0-4
triple checked it with my scanner all sensors check out ok plus i ohmed them or checked for proper voltage
new cat
new o2
new temp sensor
So yesterday i came home to check for dead cylinder and compression wise the lowest was 148 highest was 160
plulled all the plugs the only one that concerned me was the #8 cylinder the plug was dripping with gas.
any ideas i changed the wires again and am waiting for my plugs to try it again any ideas please

did you try a quick rebuild of the injectors. it's like $40 at autozone and it's gaskets and internal filters. also the run it around town for a while to get the cat good and hot and higher octane gas also helps. clean thwe old k&n or new filter. oil change. fuel filter. check the pcv valve. clean the intake inside with carb cleaner while running. turn on the AC if it works. find some guy under the table for $100 on the side.

an Hc count of 1000 is a dead cylinder for sure and what did you find one dead #8 is dead if you pulled the plug and it wet with fuel. Eather switch the plug with another cylinder or get a new on check for spark at the wire end. Fix the dead cylinder and it will pass
