use 2 pairs of s10 rear leaves, mutated to one pair of "super leaves"

say the stock pair's like this
5
4
3
2
1

the new pair should be
5
4
4
3
3

and you can add or remove from what you have left over to tune ride height, stiffness, etc.

I think that wagoneer springs would fit with some custom work athey will even move the axle forward I have heard.

I Used 52" springs, center bolt is 23" off the front eye. Think there Super Lifts #RE1426 W/6 leaves ,did'nt have a heavy arch. I had to throw in a helper and used 1" axle relocater pads to push it forward a hair. I was running 38" Tsl's with a little rubbing when stuffing the tires in the wells.
But then your steering is going to go into play with axle placement also. experiment

a bunch of people like the wagoneer springs that run 4.3s and 700r4s in toyotas so basicly there close to the weight that you will end up with

i want to try the stock rear springs since i have 2 sets around and ill end up redrilling the centerpin anyways- easyer to work with what you have if it fails you can buy the real stuff

I have had both the combo s-10 pack and now stock waggys. I switched to the waggys cause it moved my axle forward about 6" while retaining my front crossmember. They seem to be similar in spring rate, both very soft. You can add the extra main leaf by cutting the eyes off if you go with the 2 s-10 combo pack.

I'm running the Rancho 2.5" Wagoneer springs. (44044's) They work really good with the weight of a V-8 over them. They're pretty tall though. Them sprung-over with a bodylift lets me clear 44's pretty easy.

the problem i ran into when i put the s10 rears up for mock up was that they have any off set center pin. that made the axel to far back.

stock Waggy is around 48", so I;d assume the 44044's are close. I know its on here somewhere, bet a search would get exact figures. I think he's also got tons of trimming to fit 44's too.

how much body lift do you have to clear 44s? ill be running 38s and soa dana f60/14ff

i have a 4.3 and will be getting a winch (8000-9500 range) will that be enough weight for the springs?

-there is a bunch about this on the toyota part of pirate by the way

Isuzu rear springs from a pickup, rodeo or whatever. I dont recall the numbers on them but the center pin was offset to work perfectly. They mounted up easy, worked well but needed an extra ply or two.

My 44044's are 46-1/4 with the weight of the truck on them. They were close enough to the stock YJ's that I used to run that when I went to them I didn't have to move any mounts. I'm using a 3 inch body lift, and my fenders have a fair amount of trimming done to them. I obviously have no more inner fender wells. The fenders are trimmed to the cab (which isn't much on a s-truck) in the back and I took more towards the front of the fender to actually move the well forward. You can just see the corner of my battery tray from outside the fender.

Yeah, that's the ticket to fitting tires on S-10s, move the front axle forward. Its no time till yer into the firewall if not.
