Arrow 14 Bolt fer Cheap

I scored a 14 Bolt out of a 78 chevy van this past weekend for $81 dollars complete at a local junkyard. It is 4 inches wider than any other 14 bolt I have seen, its 56.5 inches fom backing plate to backing plate. Of course like a dumbarse I didnt measure from WMS to WMS to get an overall width for it so my ? is whats the distance from the backing plate to the WMS? I would measure it but its an hour and a half away right now and I wont be back home for a 2 weeks. Anyway sorry fer ramblin. Thanks for all replies.

I can't remember right off the top of my head what the measurements are and I don't feel like laying in the mud to measure any of mine.
But.. you are gonna have to mow the spring pads and shock mounts off and relocate them to make it work.

Arrow gears

Not sure what gears are in it Tim... I didnt have time to pull the cover off of it, and the tag was broken off. Hopefully they are at least 3.73s... maybe even 4.10s . I think i am gonna build a pulling truck with this rear... A buddy of mine has a 78 chevy shortbed set up for a caddy 500 cube... 800 dollars and the whole thing is mine including truck, engine, th400, and np205 case. All i need is an 8 lug frontend hopefully a 60 but I think that I can make a 44 last for a while. Anyway I am rambling and dreamin here, I need to get the yota back up and runnin right now.

Cool score with the truck.....You might wanna change rear to a "thick" 5:13 gear welded up (need wheelspin). If you don't get this truck I'll buy it....let me know!! I sold my 383 engine (Again) and I'm building a 426 stroker now for "Project 4 Runner" .... I been busting ass past 2 weekes getting ready to "slap" 4 Runner together for "Bloomsburg, PA" Jamboree....I'm entering everything this year....500 HP & a EXO CAGE goona be interesting....Take it easy....Tim
