Vin Decoder?
I am looking to do some serious suspension work to my new suburban. I want good ride hight and great flexibility. but before i break out the tools and dive in i was wondering what axles i am running and a few other details so if you know of a vin decoder for a checvy suburban please post it. And while i am here what is better for a good all around wheeler Leaf or Springs? It will definatl;y see some rocks but also mud and trails.

According to the chart I have:
1988 GM Blazer/Pickup/Suburban GM 10-bolt/GM 9.5" or GM 8.25" IFS / GM 9.5 unless its a HD, then a GM 10.5 in the rear As for gear ratio, look for a tag on the cover or find the data sheet probably in the glovebox. That data sheet will have all the good info on the options it came with. |
