i bought my TH350 off a guy who had it in an '84 full-size blazer with an NP203 behind it. how would i find out what this tranny is originally out of?

Does it have an electrical connection on the drivers side just above the pan?

no, but i have a casting number from the outside bottom of the bellhousing.

where would i crossreference it?

8640300

it really is irrelevant but i would like to know from what vehicles all my parts are from.

for the the axles, there's BOMs
engines/heads have casting numbers (tomorrow i'll get these to find out what my 305 is out of)
