Anybody running late model LT1's?.....

Is anybody running a ~94-97 LT1 in their rig? I have a chance to pick one up really cheap right now but I'm wondering if anyone who is running one has had any trouble w/water and the distibutor being mounted right over top of the harmonic balancer. I stay so busy the rig probably won't see a lot of deep water (especially w/40's) but I would rather solve a problem than create one if you know what I mean.

Optispark doesn't even like lots of dust, let alone water and mud. If you run a LT1 you will have to convert to a different ignition system(not sure what is available for those things). They make good power and all, I'd prefer a Gen I or III myself, but for the right price I could be persuaded to a LT1.

Mass air to oil plug w/all accessories w/60k on it for $800. I'm trying to figure out a way to make it work .
