This might help.

Follow the link to the S10-Extremist website. They have a good article on upgrading the 4.3L engine.

I am running the comp cams 270ahr 500in and 510 exh. It has a nice idle and friken gets it on the road. I am geared low so I am in the power range when I need it. This cam comes in at about 2000 rpm. You will need to do some work to the heads to get the right springs to fit. If you have any ? call me and I can give you part# too 408 687 2577. I still have to do the computer but I thank I will be at 325-350 hp when done.

Mostly wheeling. Some driving. Did you have to rework the computer? Thanks. Jim
