'84 K5 Exhaust Options

Im in the process of building up my 84 blazer and was wondering about where I could get a bolt on exhaust. Right now its got the stock y-pipe with a single muffler and single exhaust. I need to make it smog legal by putting a cat on it and was looking to get a dual system at the same time. Anyone know of a good place to order a decent system from, and I dont care where it dumps, as long as its out of the way of gettin crushed wheelin?

Thanks in advance!

Perhaps a dual exit muffler and have a shop fab up dual tips . Probably won't run that much .

I run the single for simplicity myself . And have my tip come out above the rear spring since I am shackle flipped in the rear .

You can check Summit they have some bolt on set ups that might work for you..

I think the easiest way for you to get a dual set up is to get a Flowmaster or other of your choice and have your existing pipe go in as 1 and come out as 2..

Summit Racing definitely has some good exhaust kits, street/smog legal too.
I would go with a set of Flowmaster 40 series mufflers, PN 42451 I think?
The sound friggin gnarly on will set off every car alarm within 200 feet.

Do you just want the look of duals?? I had a 81 K5 with an aluminum head 383 and 4.56 gears. I had headers connect to single 3" pipe, 3" high flow cat, and 3" 40 series Flow with 3" tip behind drivers side rear wheel. The thing sounded great, ran great, and guy at exhaust shop said I could go dual but would just be for looks and cost more $$$. Probably would sound a little different, but I was more concerned about performance.
