Here is my 94. I am at a stopping point cause I cant make up my mind on next step. I am converting to fullsize axles but not sure which way to go. i got a set out of a dodge 3/4 ton with 5.13 gears, a set from a 3/4 ton chevy with 4.10's, and another set that are old school gm military with realy low gears. I'd go old school for being heavier but brakes are bad and not sure if I can rig up disc brakes on them. Moneys tight so I am trying to figure out the cheapest and easiest way.

This is my buddy Jon's, we finished it last spring. 4.3L is pretty tired, says he's throwing a 5.3L in it soon. Eventually the front will get a 60. The funny thing is he says it drives better than is '08 JK Rubicon 4 door.

I've gotta remember to harass him to get these on.

ROXROES, is that a kit (using the term loosely) or is it your/his fab? Looks really fricking nice. Love to have some specs on that.

I'll take that as a compliment.

Its our fab, 3 link y link front (RE TJ 7.5" coils) with alcan anti-wrap rear leafs (3" lift over stock leafs). Its got a divorced 205 in it, which he would like to add a doubler to eventually. Actually doing another similar build but with airshocks for a buddy right now on an older style s10.

EDIT
Click the 'project pics' link in my sig and go through the main folder for pics throughout the build.

Thanks,
Chris

Ahhh....how I love these trucks.

Bill (gogogadgetbiker), Dave (SFAZR2DAVE2112), Steve (1TFROT), Paul (oober), I really appreciate that I've gotten a chance to meet you guys, and see your trucks close up. (FWIW, looking forward to 'wheeling with y'all again, hopefully soon.) In particular, Bill, your experience is the one I'm taking the most from, to adapt to my Sonoma 'build - low, big tires, flexy. My adaption to that, though, will be that I want to keep as much body (front fenders) as possible. Gonna be a tricky....

The S-10 doesn't share a lug pattern with anything of use. Jeeps are 5" on 4.5" and S-10's are 5" on 4.75" IIRC. Considering the unit bearings, I'd say it is a Dana 30 front(from a TJ, XJ,YJ, ZJ...who knows).
