Newbie question...I'm a Ford guy
I have a 78 K20 4x4 steering box. It bolts to the outside of the frame. I want to run it on an early bronco outside the frame, but with the pitman arm pointing back...to the rear of the vehicle. I've searched and read a ton. Can I do this with the 4x4 box and a different pitman arm...I don't think I can? Will the pitman arm work the way I need it to. Can a 2wd sector shaft swapped into this box solve this? I read the 2wd shaft is not indexed like the 4wd so i thought that might solve that issue...confused on that.

Thanks guys...I think I saw a 2wd box at picknpull...the shaft shouldn't be too much. I know it was cheaper than an entire box on the price sheet. $15.00 I think
