Hi to all. I realize this is not hardcore question but search is disabled right now. I have to remove the front axle to reseal the case and I want to add something to help offroad. I am thinking about the Detroit Truetrac. I don't think the lunch box locker would work very well b/c of how the front axles turn all the time. The truck is my DD so it needs to be dependable. What have you guys added to your DD trucks and how do you like how it does on the road? Thanks in advance.

I would not put a locker in a 1/2 ton ifs. It is already easy to break. If you put a locker in there you would for sure break cvs like crazy. I didnt even know they made lockers for 1/2 ifs chevys.

They don't make lockers for the 1/2ton IFS. Only 3/4.
