best way to install new races in hubs

was going to use the old bearings to tap them in. anyone have a better way?

If you don't have a bushing driver, perfered method, use a brass drift. Put the race in postion so its square with the hub, and gently tap it in place, hitting the outer edge of the race. Do this working in a alternating pattern, around the circumference of the race, so it goes it straight, not in an angle.
