10in lift have front driveline problems
I have a 1976 long bed chev truck. I put a 10in lift on it over the weekend. But now I am having problems with my front driveline it has such a steep angel from the tranfercase to the front pumpkin it is binding up. How can i fix this problem?

haha no shit! u have to grind/round the edges on the dual cardon joint (that deally with the 2 u joints in one thingy) and take out the 2deg shims at the bottom of ur leaf packs and put in some 6 deg shimz, you can get a set of shims at any 4x store. I would imagine u got the super lift kit, and instead of getting the front shaft lenthend u got that 1.5" spacer that goes between the drive shaft and the case out put yoke? yeah ur gunna have to ditch that and get the shaft done up right. i did all that and had 12" spings and 1" shackles on my blazer and never had a binding issue, just dont flex it too much, id suggest limiting straps on the front axle, with no more then an inch or 2 of play at ride hieght.

This is what you need. I have 8" of lift and the 42deg CV is more than enough for me. You'll also have to cut and rotate the diff to align the lower u-joint of else you'll either break the u-joint, or in my case, split your t-case in half.
