getting a np205 behind a th350

i know there has to be some type of coupler to put this combo together, but is there anything else i would need?
the np205 i have has a sm465 in front of it, and the th350 i have has a np203 behind of it. i would like to get the 205 behind the th350.

anyone know of a writeup?
part numbers?

thanks for the help.

You need a turbo 350/205 adaptor, a 27 spline input gear for the 205 and a coupler to go in between the 2

Call Advance Adapters. They have the adapter casting and a 27 spline to 10 spline coupler shaft. No hassle involved.

hmm. maybe i'll source a 208 instead of running the 203 or dicking around with 205 adapters.
wasn't the 208 pretty common behind the th350?

No. 208s were used primarily behind 700R4s. A ton of TH350/NP205 combos were used in '69 - '72 trucks (the only automatic 4WD combo available in those years). And quite a few were used in '73 and up trucks, although as you know, 203s are much more prevalent after '72. TH350/NP205 is not a rare combo but like anything they can be hard to find when you need one.
