dually axle question....

so it may sound like an easy question but what the heck.... i have NO experience with dually axles at all. any major differences from a dually 14 bolt and a reg. F.F 14 bolt? shaft wise or carrier wise? also are the sring perches the same width between the two? this would be a 75-87 c3500/k3500.

this would be going under an 86 K5.
