Does anyone know if I can convert a NP241C with a VSS to a mechanical speedometer by switching the sensor and tone ring with the gear drive counterparts? If so, does anyone have the part numbers? Thanks in advance for your help.

It is a direct swap--good luck finding the parts. GM only made them for 1 year
The dealer does not even show it in their books. PnP is your friend. You can also try orangefj45 on this board. He had some parts about 2 months ago

JB conversions does not have the parts to convert a 241. The SYE for the 241 uses the existing rear housing, be it either the mechanical or the electronic speedo.

Ive got a mech speedo 241 in disassembled if you want to swap e-speedo parts for shipping.

Add VSS to the 205.

Dude i had the same problem i said fawk it and am just using a reluctor ring now... no more trying to find the right combo to work, well thats just wat i did goodluck..

JB does have a setup for driver drop 241 (At least when it is in stock)
