14 bolt-disk brake-parking brake?
Has anyone ever swapped out the stock drums for disks with a parking brake? Any tips on this would be greatly appreciated.
I read that cadillac calipers may work, but no sure about the rotors and brackets.

Use the same brackets as any other 14 bolt disk brake conversion and get Eldorado Calipers for the rear of a 76-78 and they will fit. For rotors just get 73-87 3/4 ton front rotors. I have that setup but have never hooked up the cables. I have jacked up the rear end, let it turn about 20, and used vice grips to move the arms and it seems to stop the wheels ok. A lot of people don't like them.

Chris over at Rock Tech carries a hydraulic locking valve that"ll lock up the brakes. (562) 690-8321 This will eliminate the E-Brake cable from getting cought on the trails.

i would recommend a parking brake. i never used to run them and one time i was doin a hill climb and broke my spring perches and spung the axle around ripping out all brake lines and leaving me rollin backwards. i threw it in gear, but its just a suggestion.

Hundreds of people have done in. Many bitch about it. Look at http://www.tsmmfg.com/Rear_Disc_Brake_Kits.htm
