i have a 1ton and the damn rear end has gone out 2 times. 1 was the original and this one was a brand new one luckaly its under warenty but dang what makes them go out. they have fluid all the time. im totaly stumped

what rear end is it? what truck? what motor? whats it used for? tire size?

Well you really didnt specify but your running a 14 bolt Govbomb i take it? Those blow pretty commonly. Far as i know 1 tons have pretty much came with 10.5 floaters, 11.5 floaters, and dana 70 floaters.

I have ran open/detroited 14 bolts for years and never killed one. I have seen a few guys kill them but it was mass abuse or too much tire and extremely healthy bigblocks.

i think its a 10.5 full float but im not sur it has the off set drive shaft and its a 90 gmc it is a 14 bolt
