Rockwell brake help
Ok so I'll be using the O.E.M hub/brake asembly on my rocks and wondered what u guys reccomend for MC/Booster combo? I'll also have pinion brakes but those will be my emergency brakes and be cable activated. Should I just switch to a 1ton MC/Booster or should I jump over to hydroboost. If I should go hydroboost what PS pump should I get? One from PSC?

If you already have pinion brakes why mess with the heavy drum brakes ? The pinion brakes will stop it just fine

They won't stop shit. The truck will be driven at almost 70mph. I don't think pinions will do anything

But I normally hear people say the pinion brakes are too grippy. The main complaint is that they can get really hot or if you break a shaft=no brakes.

What about with an open diff?
Oh and if you have unlocked selectable hubs, it's useless.
