Chevy Bellhousing question

Ok, here is my situation. I have a 72 blazer with a TH350/205. I am switching that over to a 465/205. I am also changing to a hydraulic stlye clutch using a kit from novak to mount the slave cylinder. I have everything (more or less) that I need to do this except the bellhousing.

I need an aluminum bellhousing due to how the slave clyinder mounts on the bottom two holes of the bellhousing. It also needs to house an 11" clutch.

Are there any experts on part numbers here? I know that part #3899621 will work, however, it is a highperformance unit that came behind corvettes and stuff, so is therefore big bucks. Some of the other part numbers that will work with my slave clyinder are:

3840383
3788421
3858403
462606
460486
6263756
15998496

My question to the experts is will any of these clear the 11" clutch? I tried Novak, but they didn't know if these would clear the 11"clutch.

Hydraulic clutch bellhousing

Just FYI, if you havent bought the Novak kit yet, you can get a 1 ton gm truck bellhousing for the sm465 with a hydraulic slave cylinder mounting boss cast in, and use the gm master cylinder. As far as using other bellhousings, just make sure they clear that huge bearing used on the sm465.

Novak Just get the clutch retrofit kit and go with it. I went from auto to stick and built my own kit using the novac pic's. It works, and I am running the 11".

I agree on the high performance one NOT working.....well, not without opening up the hole. If it was from vettes, camaros, chevelles etc...it housed a "car" Muncie (M20, M21 and the great M22 "Rockcrusher") and not the larger bearing "hole" in the bell for the SM465.

73-84 aluminum truck bellhousing. There is only one type (knocks on wood ) It has the 5.125" center hole, and a ball-stud on the side. You will probably trip over several at the PYP.

And why run a puny 11" clutch when it will take a 12"?
