Gives you another low range. Search for transfercase doubler.

I'm running a SYEed 241 to a divorced 205. The benefits are 2 low ranges to choose from, or a double low. Also, with a longer wheelbase you can have a longer front shaft for better u-joint angles. With a divorced doubler you can even position the case so both shafts are the same length so you can carry just one spare.
