Np208?

Can you guys give me info on a NP208?
Is it chain or gear drivin?
It keeps popin out of 2H is this just detent or can there be somthing else causing it?
I just brought the truck home and don't know much about it yet.

Its chain driven and you probably need to adjust the shift linkeage

common problem, mine does the same thing, now its always in 4 low, my fix is the 205 laying in my garage

Linkage or shift fork. Linkage is the easy one of that is it. Get under the truck and disconnect the linkage and then rotate it by hand into position and see if it still pops out of gear when you test drinve it. If it does the same thing then you have a internal problem. Drop the case and open it up.
